Midwest Company was founded in the summer of 1993 under the name of Midwest Textile H.K. Ltd, as a sister company to the main office in the United States, Midwest Textile Company. Midwest Hong Kong was originally established as a Trading Company exporting used clothing to countries throughout Asia as well as Russia and Eastern Europe. The location of the current store is the same location as the trading showroom in 1993, albeit about 10 percent of thr size of the current store.

Due to the high demand from the local market for produce featured in their trading showroom, the retail store was established. Throught the 1990's, the interes in vintage fashion grew tremendously in Hong Kong as it has in the rest of the world.

All of the product are purchased from the United States and they endeavor to make sure that through sorting and careful inspection all our products are original. This is the policy and has been their inception in 1993.
This is all the history about Midwest. And here are the product.

    Night market: )

Hey everyone, this time we would like to introduce the popular night market in Hong Kong which called Temple Street!: )

Why we want to introduce this street? It is because it is so different from other shopping mall! Temple Street is well known for its night market and the busiest flea market at night in the territory. When you been there, you can feel the traditional culture full whole street, that's good feeling !: ) Also, Temple Street is an amazing shopping sight, featuring rows of brightly lit stalls hawking an astonishing variety of inexpensive items especially for men ─ including clothing, pens, watches, CDs, cassettes, electronic gadgets, hardware and luggage. That's why it is also called 'Men's Street'. : )
Let me show you some nice picture to you guys !!

The market starts at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, but is lively at dusk daily. Traffic is closed on the street at that time, and visitors swarm into the street. There are more than a hundred stalls with colourful lights in the market. There are carts bulging with goods from clothing to mobile phones and watches. Stalls have items mainly for men, jeans, t-shirts, pants, lighters, shoes, condoms and men's accessories. Cheap merchandise is common in the night market. Cheap second hand goods such as cassettes, video tapes, old newspapers, antiques are also sold there. Like in other night markets in South East Asia, prices can always be negotiated by bargaining.
If one has to buy merchandise in Temple Street, one has to hunt for shops hidden in streets behind the stalls rather than looking in the stall themselves. This is one of the uniqueness of Temple Street Night Market.

Except Shopping, and i want to tell you guys, there have many good taste food you can try! Finally, I am sure you guys really want to know how can get there right?
Route 1: MTR Jordan Station Exit A. Turn right into Jordan Road and walk three blocks to Temple Street.
    and
Route 2: MTR Yau Ma Tei Station Exit C, walk along Man Ming Lane to Temple Street.
