ISQUARE

Today I am going to introduce you a new shopping mall –isquare, which is located in Tsim Sha Tsui.


The Building
Isquare which is designed by Hong Kong architect Rocco Yim, with a total construction area of 600,000 square feet, including the shopping mall, cinema and three parts of high-block building. The ground floor to the 8 th floor is the main shopping area , including the flagship stores of international brands, primarily sale of watches, jewelry and cosmetics.The low- floor area which are selling fashion cloths, shoes and handbags. At the 7th floor, there have the IMAX cinema with five mini movie theaters, providing about 1,000 seats.
About the High Block property, which is a 20-storey hight building include restaurants, fitness center, yoga and SPA. Brsides, the 30 to 31 top floor penthouse is for the fine dining venues, is about 18,000 feet.

The wall of ISQUARE had used with more than 4,000 pieces of tempered glass and special glass components to be supported the way of the building.This construction had created a precedent of Hong Kong building industory. The shopping mall entrance at Beijing Road has a giant canopy which is composition by thousands of LED lampit play different types of animation everyday ; The LB floor also has a projection device wall. In addition, the venue has 43 escalators; five of the escalators is the cross-layer, which can go through each subject area. The escalators to the MTR escalators is total 37 meters long, both sides of the wall had projector to project 10 groups of picture such as plants and trees image, known as iNTER-GROW.

The IMAX Theatre
UA cinema opened UA Isquare on December 17, 2009 in Tsim Sha Tsui and launched the second IMAX in Hong Kong. UA Isquare IMAX theatre is the highest grossing IMAX theatre worldwide for ‘Avatar’ in IMAX 3D and history. The prestigious and exclusive state-of-the-art entertainment spectacle, UA Isquare, houses 5 theatres including Phoenix Club and the biggest IMAX theatre in Hong Kong.





Dining
In Isquare, there have different kind of dishes you can choose, if u like western dishes you can go to visit Carpaccio Pasta, Duke's Deli, Italian Tomato, Key West Café, Kraze Burger…etc. If you like japanese dishes, you can go to Gyu Jin Shabushabu, Ramen Santoula, Romankan Yokohama or Toi Hokkaido Rice Pizza.
